This Privacy Policy explains how AI Studio (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use our mobile application Magic Eraser (the “App”).

By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

2. Information We Collect

We do not require you to create an account to use Magic Eraser.

We may collect the following types of information when you use the App:

a) Photos and Images You Choose

When you select a photo or image from your device to edit (for example to retouch, remove unwanted objects, clean or change the background, adjust faces or add text/logo overlays), that image is used only to generate the requested result.

Depending on the feature, your image may be processed:

on your device, and/or

on secure servers of our AI / image processing provider, Replicate, Inc. (“Replicate”).

We do not use your photos to identify you personally or to train our own models.

You always stay in control of which images you select.

b) Face Images and Face Data

Some features (such as face adjustments or face swap) work on photos that contain faces.

For these features:

The App processes the image pixels in your photo to change or combine faces and generate the requested visual effect.

Images that may contain faces can be sent to Replicate only to generate the requested AI result.

We and Replicate do not create or store biometric templates, facial recognition profiles, or any data that can be used to identify you in real life.

We do not perform automatic facial recognition to match you with other photos or databases.

Face images and other photos are not used by us to build user profiles or to track you across other apps or websites.

Face images are kept only as long as needed to create and deliver the edited result. When processing is done, they are deleted from our systems or from Replicate’s systems according to their retention policies.

If you choose to save the edited image, it is saved locally to your device’s photo library, under your control.

c) Purchase and Subscription Information

Purchases and subscriptions are handled by Apple’s App Store.

We receive limited information from Apple and our subscription provider (for example, RevenueCat), such as:

which product or plan you purchased

whether your subscription is active, in free trial, or expired

We do not see your full payment details (for example, full credit card number).

We use this information only to unlock the correct features (free, trial, premium) and manage credits inside the App.

d) Usage Data and Diagnostics

To improve the App and keep it stable, we may collect basic usage information, such as:

Device model and operating system version

App version

Screens and features used

Error and crash information

This data may be collected through third-party services (for example, analytics or crash reporting tools) and is used only to understand performance and improve the App.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to:

Provide the core features of the App (image editing and AI tools)

Process your purchases and manage your subscription status (free, trial, premium)

Improve performance, fix bugs, and analyze how the App is used

Prevent abuse, fraud, or misuse of the App

Comply with legal and billing obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. Third-Party Services

We may use third-party services, such as:

Replicate, Inc. (“Replicate”) – AI image processing service used to generate AI edits (including face-related edits and removal of unwanted objects) from your images.

RevenueCat – to manage in-app subscriptions and entitlements.

Analytics / crash reporting services – to improve stability and performance.

These services process data under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their policies if you want more details.

We do not share your face images or other photos with third parties except as needed to process your edit request through these providers.

5. Data Retention

Photos and images you edit are kept only as long as needed to process your request and return the result, unless you save them to your device yourself.

Face images are processed only for the purpose of generating the chosen effect and then deleted from our systems or from Replicate’s systems according to their policies.

Subscription and purchase information is kept as long as needed for billing and legal reasons.

Analytics and diagnostics data are retained according to the policies of the third-party services we use.

6. Your Choices

You can control several things:

Photos access – You can disable photo access in your device settings:

Settings → Privacy → Photos → Magic Eraser.

If you disable photo access, some or all editing features of the App may not work.

7. Children’s Privacy

Magic Eraser is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data, we will delete it as soon as possible.

If your local law requires a higher age for consent, we follow that higher age.

8. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information.

However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top. Your continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.
